Senior Book Club: Empire of the Summer Moon

Meet with us the second Tuesday of every month for a book club just for seniors. We will be discussing Empire of the Summer Moon:  Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanches, the Most Powerful Indian Tribe in American History by S.C. Gwynne. In his compelling narrative, Empire of the Summer Moon, master storyteller S.C. Gwynne brings history to life.  Told through the eyes of people who were actually there, the story of the Comanches, the fiercest and most resourceful warriors in North America who long held on to their domain, which later became Texas, is an irresistible read which cannot be put down. Books will be available in the Adult Services department. Also available in Libby in audio and eBook form and in Hoopla in audiobook form.
