As holiday decorations start to appear and thoughts of buying gifts come to mind, the Kishwaukee Valley Art League’s Holiday Arts and Crafts Market approaches for another year. The Market will be held on November 21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the old train depot, 322 W State Street in Sycamore.
Featuring unique holiday gifts made by 26 local artists, shoppers will be able to purchase items in mediums including oil, watercolor, and acrylic painting; photography and scanography; colored pencil; pen and ink; pottery; fabric; paper sculpture; gourd art; notecards; wood sculpture; jewelry; and leather. In addition to original gift selections, several artists will offer holiday ornaments and décor items.
Admission is free for the Holiday Arts and Crafts Market, and the show offers shoppers the opportunity to browse creative gifts, meet and chat with the artists, and enjoy the refreshments provided by KVAL members.
The Kishwaukee Valley Art League is committed to promoting local artists and dedicated to the development of upcoming artists in the Kishwaukee Valley area. Visit www.kval-nfp.org for information
