After a two-year hiatus, Spex Expressions’ popular trunk show and customer appreciation day is back. The “Oh My Gourd” fall event will be held from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7.

On customer appreciation day, Spex Expressions customers can participate in contests and raffles while they enjoy free beverages and doughnuts from Jonamac Orchard. Customers who buy a set of eyeglass frames during the event can get lenses for half off. Vitamins will also be discounted by 10 percent.

A representative from 141 Eyewear will be on hand with his company’s entire line for the trunk show portion of the event. Spex Expressions is the only local practice to carry 141, a unique line of eyeglass frames designed in Portland, Oregon.

Besides their commitment to producing stylish, high-quality eyewear, 141 is dedicated to sharing the gift of sight. For every pair of 141 frames purchased, the company donates a pair of prescription glasses to a person in need.
