Reel in some fun! Bring your tackle box, poles, and bucket for a morning of fishing- rain or shine! Awards will be given for Longest, Shortest, and Most Caught in youth and adult categories. The Fishing Derby falls on one of Illinois’ free fishing days, so fishing licenses are not required. There will be no lifeguard on duty, and each person is allowed 1 fishing pole.

Hayes from the Habitat for Humanity board was our Guest DJ. We talked all about their current build which is a Duplex! So two families will be getting a new home, and its their biggest project to date. We also talked about the fundraiser with Willrett Flowers going on now where if you get a bouquet, 25% of the proceeds will go to Habitat as well. Paco may be a little independent at first, but once he feels at home, he`ll happily become your loyal little shadow. He`d do best as the only pet in a calm, quiet home where he can truly shine ✨

All Paco needs is someone willing to give him a chance — and he`ll prove that the best companions sometimes come in the smallest packages! 💛
