Does your child or tween play some of the popular games like Minecraft, Fortnite, or Roblox? Are you aware that these games and many more have an element of skill sets that are beneficial to their development via education and potential career paths? Through video games we will be extracting those skill sets with professional gamer and Head E-sports Coach for Kishwaukee College, Matthew Hixon, while simultaneously having fun. This program is for ages 8-12 and requires registration at dkpl.org, as space is limited. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the DeKalb Public Library.
