Bookworm Barbs: Nate the Great

Nate the Great is a detective. He likes pancakes. He works alone. Nate has found lost balloons, books, slippers, chickens, and a goldfish. Can Nate find Annie’s missing picture? Nate the Great is our July Bookworm Barbs Book Club book.  Bookworm Barbs is our book club for K-2nd grade students.  We read shorter chapter books with lots of pictures. Older first and second grade students may be able to read on their own, but the books also make a nice family read aloud, too. Bookworm Barbs is a book party!  Not only will we talk about the book, we’ll enjoy a snack (pancakes) and do a craft, too. Pick up a copy of the book at the Children’s Department Desk while supplies last. Please register at dkpl.org, as space is limited.
