BARB Book Club: Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library

It’s a good thing Kyle loves games, because he didn’t see the one coming! When Mr. Lemoncello, a game maker, designs a new library in Kyle’s hometown, Kyle gets a chance to stay overnight. That’s when the unexpected game enters. Escape from the library in 24 hours and Kyle might be a spokesperson for Lemoncello’s game company! Can Kyle and his friends beat a bully, Charles, to the prize?  Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library is our BARB book club book this month. BARB (Books Are Really Brilliant) book club is for students in grades 3-5. At our meeting, we talk about the book, but that’s not all!  We’ll also play a game and eat a fun snack inspired by the book. Pick up a copy of Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library and a free bookmark at the Children’s Department desk while supplies last. Registration at dkpl.org is required to attend this book club, as space is limited.
