Just Make It Happen Productions will host the 14th Annual ‘Let’s Dance’ Big Band Weekend Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 20 at NIU’s Duke Ellington Ballroom, 340 Carroll Ave. DeKalb, IL.
At Door guests are welcomed.
The weekend features social ballroom dancing to live music at three themed dances.
Three levels of ballroom dance lessons; one Cabaret Dance; and Travelin Dance Shoes of Milwaukee provide additional access to NIU’s premier HSC Duke Ellington Ballroom.
The primary dance schedule is as follows:
Friday 8 p.m. Welcome Dance – Cary Sheley’s Little Big Band, Rockford, IL.
Saturday 8 p.m. Grand Ball – Shananigans Big Band, DeKalb, IL.
Sunday 9:30 am ‘Going Home’ – Dick Elliot Orchestra, Chicago, IL.
The annual event is designed for couple and single(s) couple dancing by JMIH, a 501 c 3 non profit entity. Clubs and groups welcomed!
