The DeKalb Farmers’ Market in Van Buer Plaza is a favorite of mine and I’m so excited that opening day is right around the corner!
There is such beauty in a Farmers’ Market. You can smell the fresh baked bread, locally grown flowers, catch a delicious bite from one of the local food trucks while listening to live music and I haven’t even touched on any of the other local goods.
There truly is no bigger sense of community than going to the local market.
The DeKalb Farmers’ Market in Van Buer Plaza is a local favorite, providing some of the freshest produce, honey, coffee, olive oil, baked goods and more.
This year, live and local music is back thanks to The Egyptian Theatre!
All the fun begins Thursday, June 3rd, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Farmers’ Market will be every Thursday until September 23rd. This is absolutely the perfect place to bring the family for an early afternoon outing, supporting local families and businesses.
I’ll see you at the market!
