Looking for a fun evening out? Don’t miss out on tickets to St. Mary’s Brews, Bottles & Blarney tasting event! This special evening features tastings of more than 40 wines, craft beers, and spirits, along with food, games, raffle and silent auction items.

Over 250 local community members joined us last year for this fun-filled event in Sycamore. Beer, wine and spirits tastings hosted by Bellissimo Chicago Limoncello, MVPs, Coroco Coffee Cask’d,  Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits, Rush Creek Distillery, Whiskey Acres, Small-batch Colonel E.H. Taylor and Blanton’s (limited supply!), and many more.  Samples will be complemented by a mashed potato bar, gourmet charcuterie table, and desserts. The evening will also include a Pot of Gold raffle with cash prizes up to $500, games, and silent auction items including a jersey and football signed by Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet, an autographed jersey by former Cubs player Cody Bellinger, specialty alcohol baskets including Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Blantons and Colonel E.H. Taylor, (1) Spring season of Aggression Club Volleyball; and so much more!

This playful theme attracts many people from the surrounding Sycamore/DeKalb community to come out for a casual evening of tastings, good food, fun games, and a fantastic silent auction to support St. Mary’s Catholic School of Sycamore,’ explained Pat Strang, principal. Father Etheredge, Pastor, said “We are looking forward to gathering together with our school and parish families along with our generous community to celebrate and have fun while raising money for our wonderful school.” 

St. Mary’s Catholic School has been part of Sycamore’s rich traditions for almost 100 years and is dedicated to spiritual formation, academic excellence, and service to others. Providing education from pre3 through 8th grade, its low student to teacher ratio allows the opportunity for teachers to take a personalized approach to each child’s education.

Tickets are on sale now for $40 or $75 for a couple, which include a commemorative tasting glass. The event is Saturday, March 1 from 4:00-7:30PM at St. Mary’s Memorial Hall, 322 Waterman St, Sycamore. The event is only for those over 21.
