To prevent the spread of coronavirus, according to city leaders all guests who plan on attending Beloit’s Farmers’ Market, will need to wear a mask.

The only exception is for children who are under the age of two and people who have respiratory disabilities.

Other changes that will impact those who might attend the market:

  • The Beloit Farmers’ Market will be held on Saturdays from 9 am until noon.
  • Only 300 guests will be allowed into the market at a time. They are asking that you only send one member of your household to give everyone the opportunity to shop.
  • There are entrance and exit points at the market. The entrance will be at Broad and State Street and there will be a line that will distance everyone 6 feet apart. The exit to the market will be on Grand Avenue and Pleasant Street
  • There will be up to 47 vendors that will be featured at the market so they can allow 15 feet between each vendor’s booth.
  • Guests are PROHIBITED from touching the food before items are purchased and vendors have selected one employee to select the food and the other for purchases.
  • Guests can plan their purchases before they arrive at www.downtownbeloit.com/farmers-market-2.
  • Guests should not gather with others or eat their food in the market.
  • Please exit the market after making your purchases to allow for others to enter.
  • Vendors will be sanitizing between transactions and will be maintaining a 6 feet distance.
  • There will be sanitation stations throughout the market but you are encouraged to bring your own.
  • Pets are not allowed in the market.
