ACT OF GRACE SEEKS VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT LOCAL YOUTH

Act of Grace is a local 501(c)(3) that aims to support DeKalb County youth with epilepsy and  their immediate families through advocacy and social and emotional support.   Act of Grace is currently looking for volunteers to fill various positions, such as  mentors, tutors, event coordinators, fundraisers, and board members. Leadership positions in  these areas are also available. Volunteers will have the opportunity to interact with youth with  epilepsy and their families, provide guidance and support, organize and participate in events and  activities, and help with the overall management and direction of the organization. Volunteers  should have a passion for the cause, a positive attitude, and great communication skills. Retirees  and those with nonprofit experience are preferred for leadership positions, such as board  members and directors.

Established in 2019 and formally launched in 2020, Act of Grace is a 501(c)(3) organization,  still in the grassroots stages, mainly due to the effects of the pandemic. Act of Grace strives to  provide emotional and social support to DeKalb County youth with epilepsy, and their  families.
