Jan and Gloria from the Stage Coach Players Community Outreach Committee were our Guest DJs brought to you by Robin`s Nest Bookshoppe. They are hosting a food drive on Tuesday from 4-6pm at their location. They are helping collect Thanksgiving meals for the Salvation Army. In December, they will also have Toys for Tots Boxes, host two Angel Trees for kids and older adults, and have some fun events to highlight these. The first ever Rockford Hero Rumble raised $14,000 to support the Carrie Lynn Children’s Center, a nonprofit that helps children recovering from serious abuse.
The rumble took place Nov. 1 at Hard Rock Casino Rockford with Team Fire earning a narrow win. It will be back next year.

Helen “Sis Waddell” Wyatt, a former Rockford Peaches player who won a title with the team, has died at age 95.
Wyatt was a gifted athlete who spent years coaching later in life. She coached well into her 80s.
